The MessiahNet Daily Devotional began in January 1999 and quickly became the most popular MessiahNet feature. We had no idea that it would rapidly reach so many people across the globe (thanks primarily to our wonderful subscribers who passed on the devotionals to their friends and family who themselves became new subscribers), but even moreso that it would have such a fundamental impact on so many believers seeking the Hebraic roots of the faith.

The devotional immediately filled a need in the Body for a daily e-devotional that approached the Scriptures through Hebraic eyes. Making use of the excellent Bible translation by Dr. David Stern, The Complete Jewish Bible was the perfect launching pad for a fresh look at being devoted daily to God.

After an extended hiatus, the MessiahNet Daily Devotional is finally back in the IN-BOXES of Messianic believers from all walks of life. The format has also changed a little to help walk the devotee through the course of the whole Scriptures each week, further underscoring the unity of the Scriptures. The devotional is published daily, except the Shabbat. Beginning on the first day of the week, each devotional will be based on a passage of Scripture from the Torah, the Prophets, the Writings, Proverbs, the Gospels, and the Letters from the Emissaries.
